Farm Animals

We had a really fun week learning about living things for our farm animals unit!
This week, our new big thing was starting and completing the writing process from brainstorming to first draft to editing to final draft to publishing! The kids LOVE this and really like being authors!
We have to finish them up this week, but they will be hanging on the bulletin board inside our classroom soon!
We also broke out the chapter books because many of them are ready/almost ready to be reading them...
Ask Your Child About:
-Phonics: "ch" words, vowel combinations
-Reading: Retelling with details, Sight Words- What's Missing?
-Math: End of Year Assessment
-Science: Living Things: farm animals
-Writing: The Writing Process

-We earned our 4th Paw Party on Friday and will be celebrating with PJs & electronics on Monday! Please see my earlier email
-Kindie Graduation is coming quickly! Please see the homework assignment to decorate a cap for our ceremony!
-Library books and book bag books are due to be inventoried! Please send any you have at home in!
-If you can donate Expo markers to our classroom, that would be wonderful! PLEASE!!
